Dr Guido Sandler is the chairman and CEO of e-crowd Finance AG. In May, the company will launch the crowdinvestment marketplace Bergfürst. As founding member, Sandler headed the W.V.M Westfälische Vermögens Management AG up until 2011. In 1998, Guido Sandler was the founder and CEO of the Berlin based Effektenbank AG, a fully licenced investment bank. In the following year and in partnership with E*Trade Group Inc., he founded the E*Trade Bank AG. Sandler was CEO of this bank which specialised in discount brokerage. Sandler’s experiences have now focused on Bergfürst: the rules of the capital markets and IPOs are his second nature. As an active investor, he is well aware of the needs of mid-sized companies and founders in their growth phase.
