Information about the co:funding conference 2012
co:funding & re:publica
As last year, co:funding will take place again as sub conference of the Berlin Social Media Conference re:publica, which itself is part of the Berlin Web Week. 4000 international visitors and 300 journalists are expected at re:publica 2012. The co:funding conference will be held in one of the event spaces at the re:publica area offering seats for 300 participants.
Launched in 2007 the re:publica started with the slogan "Life on the Net" as a "class reunion" of bloggers, web activists and network intellectuals. With 700 participants in the first year the republica has now grown into one of the largest conferences about blogs, social media and digital society in Germany.
This year for the first time co: funding and re:publica will be held at the STATION-Berlin, the former postal station in Kreuzberg. On 20,000 square meters attendees can take part in lectures and discussions, interact with peers and get in "offline" contact.
